Afrofuture World-build: Nonlinear Time

Time is not a straight line—it spirals. In many African and diasporic cosmologies, ancestors walk beside us and the future calls us forward and backward at once. Facilitated by Afrofuturist Ingrid LaFleur, this immersive world-build invites you to imagine life beyond clocks, deadlines, and productivity cycles, where past, present, and future coexist in sacred conversation. Through guided prompts, collective dreaming, and speculative design, we will build a 2070 shaped by ancestral knowledge and layered time, asking how nonlinear temporality transforms grief, pleasure, justice, and liberation. Come ready to stretch your imagination, feel time differently, and meet yourself across timelines—time is already bending.
